Following a Tuesday order from the Orange County Health Care Agency prohibiting public and private gatherings to stem the spread of the coronavirus, county leaders were bombarded with questions: Which businesses are required to close? How would the order be enforced? Can people still go to work?
On Wednesday, March 18, they held a press conference to issue a revised order and with the hope of clearing things up.
“Orange County is not shut down for business. We are asking all of our citizens to be responsible in how you are interacting out in the community,” Supervisor Don Wagner told reporters.
